The Simon Annan Foundation is a charitable organisation founded by Dr. Simon Annan and officially launched in November 2026, committed to improving the lives of children, young people and families through education and targeted social intervention.
The Simon Annan Foundation builds on charitable work Dr. Annan has carried out personally for some time: paying school fees for students, supporting an orphanage and providing clean water to a community.
Its formal launch brings this work under a structured, accountable organisation, positioned to reach more children, families and communities and to work with partners who share its vision.
That shift matters. A foundation can hold money in trust, report on outcomes, invite scrutiny and sustain commitments across years — so that a child who starts basic school is still supported when they reach tertiary education.

Dr. Simon Annan
Founder
Long before the Foundation's official launch, he personally supported students, families and communities in need. The Foundation formalises and extends that commitment to children, young people and families, giving them the education and support they need to reach their full potential.
A respected procurement and supply chain professional, Dr. Annan is the Chief Executive Officer of SourceOne Management Services. His experience spans construction, telecommunications, aviation, media, fast-moving consumer goods, and the public and private sectors. He has designed and facilitated leadership, personal effectiveness and organisational capacity building programmes for institutions across Ghana and the West African sub-region, and serves as an independent advisor to multinational and regional companies.
Dr. Annan holds a Doctorate from Cranfield University, United Kingdom, and an MBA in Strategic and Project Management. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), UK; the Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply; and the Institute of Project Management Professionals. He is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT), UK. He currently serves as President of the Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply (GIPS) and Vice President of the African Institute of Supply Chain Research (AISCR), West African Region.
He brings to the Foundation the same integrity, accountability and pursuit of excellence that have defined his professional career, now directed towards transforming lives and communities.
